Biggeorge Holding and Energy Independence Ltd. have founded a company providing renewable energy services. After its formation, the new joint company, 8G Energy Holding Zrt., acquired Solarkraft Home Zrt. owned by Energy Independence, which will continue to operate under the name 8G Energy Solutions Zrt. in the future, according to a statement by Biggeorge.

8G Energy aims to become a dominant player in the domestic renewable energy market. The company is constantly working on introducing innovations and technological developments in the field of energetics, energy management, and information technology. The company 8G stands for the eight green and renewable energy sources in which the company is able to provide complex consulting, planning, construction services and investment in related projects: solar, wind, shallow and deep geothermics, water, hydrogen, biomass, and biogas. The company is also looking for additional project and company acquisition opportunities.

The two founders of Energy Independence, Róbert Fehér and András Tótth, together with the Solarkraft group, founded Solarkraft Home Ltd. in 2021, of which they became 100% owners this year, and which provides energy consulting and planning for residential, commercial, and industrial customers. The company also provides construction services, currently mainly dealing with the installation of solar panels. After the first 18 months of its operation, Solarkraft Home Ltd. has nearly 1,500 contracted partners, and its annual sales revenue reached HUF 1.4 billion. 8G Energy Zrt. has great plans for 2023 as well, with an eye of reaching HUF 10 billion in revenue.

"The positive outcome of the energy crisis and the increasingly worrying climate projections is that the transition to renewable energy will accelerate in the coming years and decades, especially in Europe, which will also be a business opportunity for companies in this field," emphasizes Tibor Nagygyörgy, Founder and CEO of Biggeorge Holding.

"I believe that the members of the Biggeorge Holding group will help us in a number of areas and provide us with the opportunity to develop integrated services covering the entire value chain, both in the industrial and residential segments. We will be looking to work with the more than 220 real estate offices of Otthon Centrum and Open House in residential services, Dome Facility Services Group to further reach out to high energy customers, and Biggeorge Property Ltd. in project development, construction, financing and fund management," says Róbert Fehér, CEO of 8G Energy Holding Ltd.

"Domestic energy regulation is in transition, there is still a lot of uncertainty, but the direction is clear. There is a huge demand from our customers for complex, tailor-made renewable energy solutions and there is also a strong governmental emphasis on supporting the transition," András Tótth, the company's Strategy Director stresses.
