Datacor Green Energy has built 13 photovoltaic plants for Aquabis, with a total investment of €3.0 million. The company completed the project for Aquabis, installing photovoltaic panels at the central headquarters and several purification and treatment stations throughout the county.
The total investment of €3.0 million was allocated for the development of 13 photovoltaic plants, with a combined capacity of 2.5 MWP. Financing was provided from structural funds POIM 2014/2023, according to a company statement. Aquabis is the main provider of water and sewage services for Bistrita-Nasaud County, under the authority of the Bistrita-Nasaud County Council. In 2023, Aquabis accessed European funds to install photovoltaic plants at 13 of its locations, with a total installed capacity of 2.5MWp.
In total, 4,652 panels were installed, with a combined capacity of 2.5 MWP, most of them being installed at the purification and treatment plants in Bistrita and Beclean, as well as the Sangeorz-Bai purification plant, the Salva purification plant, the Feldru purification plant, the Rodna purification plant, the Lunca Ilvei purification plant, the Chintelnic purification plant, the Bistrița-Bargaului treatment plant, the Anies water capture station, and the central headquarters of Aquabis.
