R.Power secured a portfolio of over 200 MWp in Romania, along with grid connection permits, and an additional 1 GWp in the developmental pipeline.

The portfolio comprises multiple solar projects, with construction set to commence for some in 2024, while others are slated for the first half of 2025.

By the close of 2025, the entire portfolio is expected to be operational, aiding in the provision of clean electricity to the grid, the company notes, refraining from disclosing specifics about the projects. "We are thrilled to unveil this substantial solar capacity portfolio," stated Tomasz Sęk, COO of R.Power. "Our dedication to sustainable energy solutions is in line with Romania's ambitious renewable energy targets, and we take pride in contributing to the nation's transition towards a greener future."

"R.Power is actively engaging in negotiations with potential buyers for Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) in Romania, leveraging its extensive experience in project trading in other markets. These agreements will ensure a stable income stream for the company while supporting Romania's renewable energy goals. To this end, R.Power seeks industrial leaders in Romania willing to purchase significant and consistent volumes of green energy," adds the press release.

"At the same time, R.Power has obtained Construction Permits for the initial cluster of projects in Romania, situated in various parts of the country. This marks the company's foray into Romania's solar market and underscores its commitment to sustainable development. R.Power's expansion in Romania mirrors its dedication to advancing renewable energy solutions in the CEE region. With a focus on innovation, sustainability, and community engagement,

R.Power is one of the rapidly growing companies in the European large-scale solar energy market and a leading independent solar energy producer in Poland.
