Restart Energy completed 395.6 kW photovoltaic (PV) installation for local auto parts maker Thyssenkrupp Bilstein.

The solar plant, valued at over €255,000, covers an area of 2,100 square meters, according to a social media post by Restart Energy. The PV panels have been installed on the rooftop of Thyssenkrupp's production plant in the central commune of Cristian, Sibiu County.

This installation will generate 445 MWh of green energy annually, meeting 6% of the beneficiary's electricity needs. It will also significantly reduce environmental impact, cutting CO2 emissions by 140 tonnes and eliminating 1.34 kg of radioactive waste per year.

Thyssenkrupp Bilstein is a part of Germany's industrial engineering group Thyssenkrupp, which operates in over 78 countries and employs more than 160,000 people globally.
