Simtel Team's management has announced the opening of a new subsidiary in Essen, Germany, marking a significant milestone in the Group's international expansion strategy. This follows the establishment of a subsidiary in the Republic of Moldova in 2021, reflecting the company's ongoing commitment to broadening its European presence.
The new German subsidiary is a strategic move designed to bring Simtel Team closer to its clients, enabling faster interventions to optimize the performance of photovoltaic power plants. Since 2012, the company has been working closely with one of Europe's leading inverter manufacturers, delivering services to photovoltaic plants in Romania and across Europe.
The Essen location, set to operate from 2024, will serve as a hub to meet the needs of clients in Germany and surrounding countries—Belgium, the Netherlands, France, Austria, and Switzerland—allowing the company to respond more rapidly to service demands and reduce equipment downtime, ultimately improving plant performance.
This expansion solidifies Simtel Team's position in the photovoltaic energy sector and opens up new avenues for collaboration and strategic partnerships. The company's efforts support Europe's ongoing energy transition by prioritizing innovation, efficiency, and sustainability.
In its early stages, the German subsidiary will focus on preventive and corrective maintenance for photovoltaic and energy storage systems. Looking ahead, the company plans to broaden its services by introducing additional business lines, including EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) projects for photovoltaic systems, energy storage solutions, and the sale of autonomous robots developed by Agora Robotics, a Group subsidiary dedicated to this area.
Simtel Team's growth ambitions extend beyond Germany, with ongoing discussions about further expansion into additional European markets. The company is actively exploring the possibility of opening another subsidiary later this year.
