Simtel Team, Romanian engineering and technology company, wants to develop in the area of green energy. The €100 million that Simtel wants to attract from banks is aimed at financing the construction of photovoltaic plants with a total capacity of over 100 MWp, which will bring stable and sustainable long-term income for the company.
"Such a credit will make us an important player in green energy production. These projects will bring a positive impact on the financial stability of the company, the environment, and the communities in which we operate", said Iulian Nedea, one of the main shareholders of the company.
The Simtel shareholder states that some of the photovoltaic plants are projects developed by the company. "We are also looking for companies that already have ATRs and are looking for construction/financing partners like we are, with whom we can associate to maximize the value of the projects they have developed," he says.
Simtel claims that it benefits from a unique ecosystem in Romania for capitalizing on the potential offered by the market. Iulian Nedea shows that at Simtel and in the group of companies in which the company has invested, ANT Energy, CSS, there are all the necessary ingredients for the company to operate and forecast energy. More precisely, energy is harnessed through ANT Energy, and monitoring, control, and reporting are done through CSS.
"We can be comfortable with this year's revenue and the next, as we see an important increase in demand for our services. I also published an extremely ambitious revenue and expenditure budget. It's just that we don't like to be comfortable and we want to initiate changes with a long-term effect. It will not be easy to convince banks or investors for bonds, on the contrary, we are determined to make Simtel a big company, a player with high aspirations and impact in the energy field in Romania, and why not, in the region", he declared Iulian Nedea.
