Atu Tech invests over €1 million in photovoltaic systems

Atu Tech (a2t.ro), an online store of security products and Romanian importer of security equipment, has allocated, in 2023, investments of over €1 million in developing the newest category of products in the portfolio, photovoltaic systems. The company thus triples its initial investments in the category and estimates that photovoltaic panels, complementary products, and accessories will generate 15% of sales in 2023. Although it introduced these products in the portfolio only at the beginning of 2022, Atu Tech closed 2022 with a share of almost 10% in sales generated by photovoltaic systems, this product category having one of the most accelerated developments in the company's history.

Investments in the new range take place in the context of increasing demand for photovoltaic systems, complete off-grid or on-grid systems, and installation equipment and accessories.

"We chose to make such an investment due to the high demand for photovoltaic systems. If, at the end of 2022, we had approximately 250 landmarks listed, currently we have diversified the offer, and we offer more than 600 products that cover as wide a spectrum as possible", says Sorin Felea, director of Atu Tech.

As for systems purchased by individual users, the best-sellers are complete systems with an installed power of 5-8 KW, with mounting included, as a rule, on the roof of buildings. Also, products from well-known brands sell best and have a competitive price that averages approximately €1,000 - 1,200 / KW installed.

For the business segment, as a rule, equipment is purchased for large projects, factories, or photovoltaic parks. Larger photovoltaic panels are preferred, such as 545W and 655W.

Atu Tech (a2t.ro) specialists recommend that the installation of photovoltaic systems, as well as video surveillance and alarm systems, especially professional ones, be done by professional, authorized installers. Improper installation can lead to burning or damage to components, but above all wrong programming of the systems, is a very important aspect of their proper functioning.
