Two Romanian businessmen are investing in a start-up that reduces energy consumption for companies and optimizes investment costs for photovoltaic parks. Cristina Bâtlan and Roberto Bâtlan, the founders of the Musette footwear and accessories brand, are investing in the startup Energoloop, founded in partnership with Eduard Fariseu, which operates in the form of a photovoltaic hub. The startup offers complete solutions for the completion of self-consumption projects in the industrial sector in Romania, but also for photovoltaic parks.
In just six months since its establishment, Energoloop has completed projects with a total installed capacity of approximately 6 megawatts, with another 20 megawatts under contract by the end of this year. The company's target for the next two years is to build at least 100 megawatts on land for renewable electricity producers.
"The start-up Energoloop responds to the current challenges and future needs in the renewable energy market with a complete approach tailored to the last detail to fit companies' strategic plans to improve energy performance. The service begins by establishing, together with the management, the goal of energy independence, defining the available energy potential resources and offering complete authorization services - design, equipment supply, connection, commissioning and assistance in the process of selling the produced electricity", the company announces.
"Considering the current reality in the market, with high energy bills, we want to help companies become energy independent, and Energoloop is a <<one-stop-shop>> solution of complete services and adapted to the size and requirements of each project in part, saving time and money in the process. Basically, we offer the possibility of a lower price, with full amortization of the investment for consumers in a 3-3.5 year interval, direct financing solutions to us, short execution time, and national coverage for the realization of photovoltaic projects of any size", explains Eduard Fariseu, CEO and co-founder of Energoloop
He has a specialization in renewable energy and over 3 years of experience in the field. He is one of the young entrepreneurs from the show "Empire of the Lions", broadcast on Pro TV, who obtained funding. Cristina Bâtlan and Dr. Wargha Enayati, investors in the same show, partnered with him for the development of the Opvarmning business, the company he manages together with his father and which produces sawdust pellets and briquettes in Telești, Gorj county for heating homes. He asked the "lions" for €250,000 to set up a new, more efficient production line in exchange for 25% of the business.
"As a business angel, beyond the area of lifestyle and health, I am concerned and have ambitious goals in the area of the environment in general, green energy, and recycling. I firmly believe that business people who invest time and resources in the area of sustainability now will be much more profitable in the future. I want to contribute to the construction of an unlimited green and sustainable future for future generations", says Cristina Bâtlan.
She entered the business world more than 30 years ago, and currently manages three factories, dozens of Musette stores at home and abroad, and more than 600 employees.
In the next two years, the declared objective of Energoloop, the new business created by Eduard Fariseu and the Musette founders, following an additional investment by them, is to strengthen the position in the local market and increase energy efficiency for as many companies as possible.
By installing projects with a total installed capacity of at least 100 megawatts for renewable electricity producers, firms will be able to significantly reduce their energy bills.
