Agenos Energy to build 100 MW solar plant in Montenegro

Montenegro's Agenos Energy plans to build a 100 MW solar plant in the southern municipality of Niksic. The plant will span a total of 125 hectares and be built in the village of Vracenovci, SeeNews.ro reported.

According to the Montenegrin business registry, Agenos Energy is owned by private individuals Osman Coskun and Abidin Gulmus, who hold 50% each. It was established in October 2022 with a capital of 1 euro ($1.09).

At the last session, the government issued urban planning and technical requirements to this investor for the preparation of technical documentation.

Approached by SeeNews for further information about the planned investment volume, a Niksic municipal official declined to comment.
