The Cluj County Council has launched the tender for the purchase of the treatment installation by molecular disintegration of municipal waste from Cluj County. CJ Cluj thus posted in the Electronic Public Procurement System (SEAP) the notice of participation regarding the purchase of design and execution services of the molecular disintegration treatment facility for the energy recovery of municipal waste from Cluj County. The objective of this investment is the supply, installation, and automation of the first molecular disintegration station in Cluj County, through which approximately 25,000 tons of residual waste/per year will be used for energy.
Also, by generating the resulting gas, the County Council aims to produce approximately 18,240.00 MWh annually, energy that will later be delivered to the national energy system.
"Practically, by purchasing and installing this modern installation, we want to definitively solve the problem of municipal waste management and transform it, why not, into a green energy resource. The solution proposed by us is an innovative and ecological one, which will generate benefits both economically and socially", says Alin Tișe, president of CJ Cluj.
The installation will be located within the Technical Area of C.M.I.D. Cluj, on an area of about 1,000 square meters, in the immediate vicinity of the Sorting Station and the TMB Station.
The estimated value of the contract is RON 62.09 million (€12.41 million), interested economic operators have the opportunity to send offers until December 12, 2023, at 3:00 p.m.
The criterion for awarding the contract is the best quality-cost ratio, the winning economic operator being allocated 4 months for the design, 12 months for the execution and commissioning of the entire installation, respectively 3 years for the operation during the warranty period.
