The Romanian company Arabesque, which manages a distribution chain of construction materials in the country, launched the tender for the construction of a photovoltaic system. It will be located at a warehouse near Bucharest. Arabesque plans to install a 390 kWp photovoltaic plant at its warehouse in Chitila, Ilfov County.
The system is part of the project "Increasing energy efficiency by installing a photovoltaic system at Arabesque S.R.L." for which the company qualified to obtain partial financing through PNRR.
The estimated total value of the project is RON 2.2 million (€440,000), excluding VAT.
The photovoltaic plant must be commissioned by June 30, 2024, at the latest.
Arabesque is a Romanian business, controlled by the family of businessman Cezar Rapotan, which now has eight Mathaus retail stores, 23 Arabesque warehouses in Romania, and another 15 in Bulgaria and Ukraine.
The company has a fleet of 1,000 trucks and around 3,000 employees.
