Romanian natural gas producer Romgaz announced the intention to expand its renewable energy portfolio by acquiring photovoltaic parks and wind farms, each with a capacity ranging from 35 to 100 MW.
Romgaz has issued a call for offers, seeking developers with projects featuring completed feasibility studies and technical-economic documentation, financed through public funding.
The company intends to purchase photovoltaic parks and/or wind parks meeting specific criteria. These criteria include a production capacity ranging from 35 MW to 100 MW, a "ready-to-build" status. Additionally, prospective projects must demonstrate proof of land usage rights for the entire operational period of the parks and valid ATR ownership documentation.
Offers must include grid connection approvals and proof of land use rights covering the project's operational period. Submission deadline is April 3.
