Rezolv Energy, a renewable energy leader in the region, has secured long-term deals with three Deutsche Telekom companies. This partnership involves virtual Power Purchase Agreements (vPPAs) for clean power generated by Rezolv's impressive Vifor wind farm in Romania.
The agreements guarantee 100 GWh of clean energy annually for Deutsche Telekom's Czech and Slovak operations.
These are the first cross-border virtual PPAs for Czech and Slovak companies, paving the way for wider renewable energy adoption.
Vifor's first phase (192 MW) will be built thanks to these deals, eventually expanding to 461 MW. This translates to clean energy for over 270,000 homes and a significant reduction in CO2 emissions (around 540,000 tonnes). Once operational, the Vifor wind farm will be able to power over 270,000 homes with clean energy, reducing CO2 emissions by approximately 540,000 tonnes.
This collaboration highlights the growing trend of companies embracing renewable energy solutions. Rezolv Energy is at the forefront of this movement, with over 2 GW of clean energy projects in development across Southeast Europe.
