The Romanian Minister of the Environment, Mircea Fechet, will launch two funding programs for the agricultural sector, financed by the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR).
These programs will support the installation of facilities for generating electricity and biogas from biological residues, as well as platforms for storing and composting manure.
One program, worth €20 million, will finance installations for producing electricity and biogas from manure, while the other will support platforms for composting biodegradable waste, particularly manure.
The programs will cover 90% of project costs, up to €4 million for each project related to electricity or biogas production, and up to €1.2 million for each project related to manure platforms. The application period for these projects will officially begin on July 31.
