Romania launches €400 million Green Home Solar program

The Ministry of Environment has announced the launch of a new edition of the Green Home Solar program, with a budget of €400 million.

This edition will also fund electricity storage units. Registration for individuals in this program will begin on September 27.

This year, the ministry is allocating €400 million for Romanians who want to install photovoltaic panels. The minimum capacity of the solar panels for a beneficiary will be 3 kW. Beneficiaries will co-finance 10% of the cost, amounting to €600.
