The Ministry of Energy has launched and managed non-reimbursable funds for investments exceeding 13 billion euros in the past 15 months, and projects worth nearly €10 billion have already been signed and are under implementation, stated the Minister of Energy, Sebastian Burduja, in a report on the first 15 months of his term.
"SC THERME NORD BUCUREȘTI SRL is ready to finalize the photovoltaic power plant in Balotești, Ilfov County, of which 4.78 million lei are non-reimbursable funds.
This plant has an installed capacity of 2.4 MW and will annually produce 3,169 MWh of energy from renewable sources. Of this production, almost 92% will be used for self-consumption, which will significantly reduce the company's electricity costs and directly contribute to reducing pollution. It is a modern solution that addresses both economic needs and environmental protection requirements”, said The Romanian Minister of Energy, Sebastian Burduja.
By utilizing solar energy and increasing local production capacities, such projects reduce the economic impact of high energy costs and create the necessary infrastructure for a more secure, efficient, and independent energy system.
