Arctic Paper S.A. has announced the acquisition of a 4 MW solar park located near Warsaw, Poland. The solar plant, situated in Garwolin, Masovian area, will contribute to the company's growing renewable energy portfolio.

"Previously, we focused on constructing solar parks on our own properties. However, to accelerate our strategic goals, we've opted to acquire a fully operational facility in Poland," explained Michal Jarczyński, CEO of Arctic Paper. "With this acquisition, Arctic Paper's total installed solar power capacity now reaches 23 MW, spread across four installations in Sweden and Poland. The energy generated by the Garwolin plant will be sold externally to the Arctic Group."

The solar park was previously owned by Polish company Coral J.W. Perkowski.
