French green energy operator Valorem has partnered with Polish engineering group Triobud Investments to develop up to 700 MW of hybrid wind-solar projects in Poland, with potential for further expansion.

The companies have signed an agreement to jointly develop two hybrid projects to shovel-ready status. Valorem stated that this collaboration aligns with its strategy to strengthen its presence in the European Union.

“This agreement marks a key milestone in diversifying and growing our portfolio in Poland,” said Katarzyna Napora, Valorem's country manager in Poland. Triobud's co-founder, Lukasz Zielinski, noted that the partnership will help the company expand within Poland's wind and solar markets.

Valorem, active in France, Finland, Greece, and Sweden, has 7 GW of wind and solar projects in development, with over 902 MW currently under construction and operational. The company established its Polish branch in 2021 and, last year, partnered with T&T Proenergy to develop a 300-MW portfolio of photovoltaic projects in Poland.
