German solar developer and installer Goldbeck Solar GmbH has completed a 28-MWp photovoltaic (PV) park in Poland and is preparing to begin commercial operations.
The project was developed for Suncatcher Gruppe, which plans to expand the solar farm with an additional 22 MWp in the near future, Goldbeck Solar announced on Friday.
Located in Modliszewice, in Poland's Swietokrzyskie Voivodeship, the solar park covers 24 hectares (59.3 acres) and is expected to generate approximately 29,867 MWh of clean electricity annually—enough to power around 7,000 homes.
Goldbeck Solar is currently conducting cold commissioning. Once energisation and hot commissioning are completed, the facility will be handed over to the client.
Specializing in turnkey construction of industrial, commercial, and large-scale PV systems, Goldbeck Solar previously completed a 37-MWp solar park in Wunsiedel, Germany, in October.
