European Commission launched the #WaterWiseEU campaign to create a water-resilient Europe by 2050. Europe is warming at twice the global average rate, increasing stress on its water systems.

Water scarcity impacts 30% of Europeans and 20% of the continent's land annually. Alarmingly, 70% of European citizens are concerned about water pollution and scarcity, yet nearly half feel inadequately informed about their country's water-related issues.

The water cycle, which governs the movement of water through the Earth's land, seas, and atmosphere, is currently disrupted. Human activity and climate change damage ecosystems, resulting in increased evaporation, floods, and droughts, thus reducing water availability for all life forms.
Running until autumn, the #WaterWiseEU communication campaign seeks to raise awareness and highlight various solutions. These solutions include enhancing natural water storage, replenishing groundwater, rebuilding soil health, implementing smart water management, and promoting water efficiency and reuse.
Through collaboration, we can shift perceptions about water and "See Water Differently," the campaign's official slogan.
The campaign provides a range of assets, such as pre-made visuals and messages, available for partners to use. These partners are encouraged to use the assets to spark conversations, organize events, and align with their communication efforts.
