UniCredit Bank announced that it has successfully closed a syndicated transaction as Joint Global Coordinator and Bookrunner, consisting of a financing package of up to €291 million to First Look Solutions SRL to finance the development of the first 192 MW phase of a larger wind energy project.
The project is located in Buzău County and the first phase, which will last until 2025, will see the installation of 30 Vestas wind turbines.
In addition to UniCredit Bank, the syndicated facility has been completed with 7 other banking groups and financial institutions. The financing package includes a tailored mix of cash and non-cash products.
First Look Solutions SRL is a joint venture between Rezolv Energy (backed by Actis) and Low Carbon to build and operate a 461 MW wind farm in two phases.
