Photon Energy N.V. announced that its Hungarian subsidiary Photon Energy Operations HU Kft has signed an asset management agreement for two PV power plants with a combined capacity of 101 MWp owned by EDP Renováveis (en “EDP Renewables”, “EDPR”) in Hungary.

“We are proud to partner with EDP Renewables to deliver comprehensive asset management services for these PV power plants in Hungary. Our commitment is to ensure optimal performance and profitability for these assets while supporting EDPR in the transition of their additional projects under construction. This agreement underscores our expertise in managing large-scale renewable energy assets and strengthens our position as a trusted operations, maintenance and asset management partner in the Hungarian market,” said Georg Hotar, CEO of Photon Energy Group.

Under a long-term agreement, Photon Energy will provide a full scope of asset management services, including the technical, commercial and financial management of the PV power plants to ensure optimal performance on behalf of EDPR.

Photon Energy will also support EDPR in the takeover of an additional asset in the future, which is currently under construction. Once this PV power plant will be operational, Photon Energy will equally deliver a full scope of asset management services.
