Dambovita County is buying 32 new electric minibusses for school transport. They will be purchased through PNRR. The total value of the project is approximately 6,000,000 euros, which is also the maximum allowed amount that could be requested.
"Good news! We are going to buy 31 new electric minibuses for the transportation of school students from all these municipalities! Today, the request submitted by the Dambovita County Council through PNRR, under the "Electric minibuses for students" Program, was accepted for financing, says Corneliu Stefan, president of the Dâmbovita County Council.
The purchase of electric minibuses with 8+1 and 16+1 seats will largely solve the problem of children who have to travel long distances in old minibuses or even on foot.
"I am glad that we can offer a significant number of students a safe, comfortable and ecological means of transport. Thus, children will be able to get to school in excellent conditions, without having to face the discomfort or risks associated with outdated transport", added the president of the Dâmbovița County Council.
