Five public charging stations for electric cars will be set up in several locations in Dambovita County. Corneliu Stefan, president of the Dambovita County Council, announces that he has signed the contract for this investment. The project, with a total value of RON1.7 million (€340,000), has secured financing of RON900,000 (€180,000) from the Environment Fund Administration, the difference being provided by the Dâmbovița County Council.
"Thus, we will place 3 stations with two charging points each in Târgoviște, Piața Tricolorului, on King Carol I Boulevard, near the headquarters of the Dâmbovița Intercommunity Development Associations, and on King Ferdinand Boulevard, near Dâmbovița Mall," says Corneliu Stefan, the president Dambovita County Council.
Two other stations, with the same characteristics, are provided in the mountain tourist area of Moroeni commune at Cabana Dichiu, on DJ 713, and another, on DJ 714 A, at Hotel Gâlma.
Fast charging capability is 50 KW, in direct current, and 22 KW in alternating current.
"At the same time, congratulations to the administrations from the localities of Dărmănești, Doicești, Morteni, Mănești, Șotânga, Costestii din Valea, Poiana, Gura Ocniței, Dragomirești, Finta, Văleni Dâmbovița, Pucheni, Niclești, Titu and Lucieni. For their part, the mayors of these localities signed financing contracts for the installation of charging stations for electric vehicles. The future is electric, and the Dâmbovița County Council comes up with solutions for those who drive non-polluting cars", says President CJ Dambovita.
