The Hungarian property company is bolstering its sustainability efforts by entering an agreement with the fast-growing Norwegian Proptech company Varig Technologies.
Since establishing contact in 2022, the two parties have been working on crafting the deal that now sees several properties in Budapest being onboarded in the sustainability management system Varig.
The Norwegian firm will provide a technology that gives a complete overview of the environmental performances of ConvergenCE's properties. This technology will help to make improvements and automates sustainability reporting.
The first agreement with Varig Technologies covers Kálvin square, CityZen, Zengarden and ACADEMIA office buildings, all in Budapest. ConvergenCE says the implementation of Varig is an important step in making sure their portfolio complies with the increasing regulatory demands.
