Drobeta Turnu Severin Emergency County Hospital becomes energy efficient, by installing monocrystalline photovoltaic panels. The Mehedinți County Council announces that an important part of the modernization and energy efficiency project of the hospital's main building is the thermal efficiency of the building together with alternative energy sources that will ensure both patient comfort and lower costs for the maintenance of the medical unit. In this sense, an installation will be made that will be located on the ground in the northern part of the land, with an installed power of 90 kWp, consisting of monocrystalline photovoltaic panels. And at the level of the hospital terraces, the location of 50 solar panels with evacuated tubes is planned.
"Residents will receive quality medical care in a new and modern building, equipped to European standards. Following the reconfiguration of medical wards and lounges, as well as related reserves, the County Hospital will have a total of 457 beds. The project envisages the construction of a photovoltaic installation, located on the ground in the northern part of the land, with an installed power of 90 kWp, consisting of monocrystalline photovoltaic panels", announces the company Concelex, responsible for these works.
And at the level of the hospital terraces, the location of 50 solar panels with evacuated tubes is planned.
"The thermal efficiency of the building together with the alternative energy sources will ensure both the comfort of the patients and lower costs for the maintenance of the hospital", states the company.
The modernization/re-compartmentalization and energy efficiency project of the main building of the Drobeta Turnu Severin Emergency County Hospital is financed by the Mehedinti County Council.
