The EBRD has approved a €4 million loan to Bosnia and Herzegovina's PMF to support residential green investments.
PMF will use the funds to provide loans for investments in high-performance energy efficiency technologies for residential buildings, construction of high-energy-performance residential buildings, and energy efficiency and renewable energy projects in the public sector. All of the proceeds will be allocated to Green Economy Transition (GET) eligible projects.
The loan will be provided in two tranches under the Western Balkans GEFF III REpower Residential Programme. PMF is the third largest non-deposit-taking microfinance institution in Bosnia, holding 16.5% of the market share by total assets as of the fourth quarter of 2023.
