Simtel Team completed the largest photovoltaic project built in Romania in a logistics park for CTP Romania. Simtel Team, a Romanian engineering and technology company listed on the AeRO market of the Bucharest Stock Exchange and a national leader in the field of renewable energy, announces the continuation of its partnership with the industrial and logistics developer CTP Romania, by signing a new partnership for the construction and installation of photovoltaic panels on the roofs of 11 buildings of the industrial and logistics developer. As part of the new project, Simtel will design and build photovoltaic installations on 11 buildings of CTP Romania in the CTPark Bucharest North, CTPark Bucharest West, Chitila, Pitesti, Craiova, Timisoara, and Sibiu locations. The photovoltaic installations will have an installed power of up to 13.3 MWp, representing approximately 31,000 photovoltaic panels.

In the first year of operation, the energy produced will be 16,625 MWh, reducing carbon dioxide emissions in the atmosphere by 10,269 tons per year.

"The collaboration between Simtel Team and CTP Romania represents, in addition to a business partnership, a harmonization of the common vision for a greener and more energy-efficient future. The first project we did together last year and in the first part of this year showed us that we are on the right track and that renewable energy is both the future and the present. We are happy to be able to contribute to CTP Romania's efforts to have buildings that produce renewable energy in a context where energy efficiency and environmental responsibility are more important than ever. Our role in this ecosystem is to promote and implement green energy solutions, ultimately leading to energy production and consumption efficiency at the national level", stated Iulian Nedea, co-founder and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Simtel Team.

In March 2022, Simtel and CTP started the first collaboration project aimed at the construction and installation by the Simtel team of photovoltaic installations on 11 buildings within the CTPark Bucharest West industrial park. Currently, the respective industrial park benefits from an installed power of 11 MWp, and Simtel continues to be responsible for maintenance services and specific annual inspections.

" We are the first real estate developer with an already operational photovoltaic plant, a project we carried out last year, in CTPark Bucharest West, with the Simtel team. As a market leader, we know that we must continuously invest in the quality of premises and in facilitating the best commercial conditions for our customers. Thus, we decided to continue the green energy project from CTPark Bucharest West by equipping another 11 buildings with photovoltaic installations", stated Eleonora Amariutei, Chief Financial Officer of CTP Romania.

Simtel Team will be responsible for the engineering works, designing, partial supply of equipment and materials, installation, approval, and commissioning of the photovoltaic installations. Upon completion of the works, the company will ensure the maintenance of the photovoltaic panels, which involves 24/7 monitoring, corrective remedies performed within 24 hours, and annual inspections to prevent any other potential unpleasant situations.

Over the past four years, Simtel Team has designed and installed numerous PV power plants for clients in various industries. The photovoltaic parks operated by Simtel means over 200 MWp installed and produce 260,000 MWh annually, corresponding to the consumption of 73,000 homes in a year, reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 156,000 tons per year, thus helping to protect the environment and having a positive impact on the health and quality of life of communities, especially in densely populated urban areas.

Simtel Team is listed on the AeRO market of the Bucharest Stock Exchange as of July 1, 2021, currently having a market capitalization of approximately RON247 million (€49.4 million).
