Simtel Team has built one-third of the photovoltaic power plant capacities of prosumer legal entities in Romania. Thus, according to ANRE reports, at the end of February 2023, all prosumers legal entities in Romania had installed a capacity of 248 MWp in photovoltaic power plants, of which Simtel Team installed a total power of over 80 MWp. Simtel Team is a Romanian engineering and technology company listed on the AeRO market of the Bucharest Stock Exchange and a national leader in renewable energy.

Also, according to the first study dedicated to the analysis of the market of photovoltaic panels and solar electricity in Romania published by Neomar Consulting, in 2022, Simtel was a prominent leader in the market, the company being responsible for installing 25% of the installed power for prosumers legal entities at the national level.

"Simtel is now a reference company, a leader in the renewable energy industry at the national level. Between 2017 and the beginning of 2023, our teams built photovoltaic power plants with a total capacity of over 80 MWp in all regions of Romania. Considering that the total electricity production capacity of the photovoltaic plants built for the self-consumption of companies in Romania has reached 248 MWp, we are honored that one out of three photovoltaic panels installed in these projects is the result of our work. Therefore, we maintain our objective of contributing to ensuring Romania's energy independence in the long term by facilitating the optimization of energy consumption among companies", stated Iulian Nedea, co-founder and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Simtel Team.

During 2022, the Simtel team successfully supported 112 projects for prosumers in Romania, the Republic of Moldova, and Germany in the transition to green energy. In addition, it has carried out other projects for individuals and projects whose purpose is to inject energy into the electricity grid without having a prosumer status. The beneficiaries of the projects carried out by Simtel are from various industries - retail, logistics, production - among them are top local and international companies, such as CTP, Dedeman, REWE (Penny Market), Mega Image, Carmistin, Tonelli, Automobile Bavaria, FAN Courier, Promateris, Kaufland or Ikea.

Regarding the photovoltaic parks for which Simtel provides maintenance and operation (O&M) services, according to the latest data published by the company, in the first quarter of 2023, these totaled over 200 MWp installed, producing 260,000 MWh annually. This production corresponds to the consumption of 73,000 homes in a year, reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 156,000 tons per year, thus helping protect the environment and positively impacting communities' health and quality of life, especially in densely populated urban areas. The O&M activity is carried out in Romania and countries such as Germany, Great Britain, Sweden, Finland, Hungary, Chile, Ukraine, the Republic of Moldova, and Bulgaria.

"Simtel is at a critical moment in the development of the renewable energy sector in Romania. Being one of the first local entities that started to be active in this industry, the experience and knowledge accumulated over the years are translated into a one-stop-shop for companies in Romania that aim to improve the efficiency of energy consumption and that are looking for a supplier of integrated services in this direction. In addition, through our portfolio companies, ANT Power and CSS, we provide maintenance, forecasting, and trading of energy production and monitoring, optimization, and remote control of energy consumption. Thus, we own and operate the entire ecosystem necessary to support companies in the transition to renewable energy ", said Mihai Tudor, CEO and executive member of the Board of Directors of Simtel Team.

Simtel Team is a Romanian company, founded in 2010 by three Romanian entrepreneurs - Iulian Nedea, Sergiu Bazarciuc, and Radu Vilau. The company is listed on the AeRO market of the Bucharest Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol SMTL. It operates in 3 fields of activity – as a solution integrator in telecommunications, renewable energy, and industrial automation.
