Aon Romania and UNIQA offer customized insurance solutions for renewable energy

Aon Romania, one of the market leaders in insurance brokerage and risk management consulting, and UNIQA, an insurer involved in sustainability actions, have collaborated in a partnership that will offer complete insurance solutions for renewable energy in Romania. Through this collaboration, the two companies aim to support sustainable development and protect investments in renewable energy by providing All Risks coverage to Network One Distribution's installation partners and their customers. Network One Distribution is the leader of the Electro-IT market in Romania and offers integrated solutions for partners and customers, proposing to be an active player in the process of transition to energy from renewable sources.

The partnership meets the growing needs of the renewable energy industry in the context of increasing concerns about sustainability and environmental protection.

With over 1,000 global renewable energy partnerships and facilitating the securing of over 1,000 GW over the past 5 years, Aon brings expertise and innovative solutions to safeguard green energy investments. Through this collaboration, customers who choose to use the benefits provided by Aon and UNIQA Asigurări will benefit from All Risks coverage for a period of 18 months, during the initial period of installation and operation of the photovoltaic systems, thus protecting the investments against any losses or material damage caused to the insured equipment and occurring unexpectedly or for any unforeseen reasons.

The objective of the partnership is to allow NOD (Network One Distribution) to offer insurance solutions to all their installer partners, who are engaged in the process of installing photovoltaic systems for consumers, including through the Casa Verde 2023 program. Thus, NOD partners will benefit from a range of competitive advantages in the market and customized solutions to protect their businesses and customers.

The end customers, in turn, will be protected against the risks of natural phenomena, fire, explosion, overvoltage, vandalism, theft/qualified theft, and accidental damage, including the interruption of the production of electricity during the interruption period generated by these events.
