Electrica Furnizare installs PV panels at Zambelli Metal factory

Electrica Furnizare was chosen by the Zambelli Metal company for the construction of a turnkey photovoltaic plant at the factory in Sfântu Gheorghe, Covasna County. The 656 photovoltaic panels will cover part of the beneficiary's electricity consumption and will help reduce CO2 emissions by over 88 tons per year, according to a press release from Electrica Furnizare. Zambelli Metal SRL is part of the German Zambelli group, a company in the field of industrial metal processing. With over 1,200 employees, the Zambelli Group operates on the international market, operating in seven production facilities in four countries, including Romania.

"It is our constant concern to offer our partners turnkey solutions that meet business requirements, such as predictability in electricity supply costs, reducing the carbon footprint, and increasing energy efficiency. In this way, Electrica Furnizare continues the expansion of partnerships in the energy solutions and services market, aiming for a constant contribution to the sustainable development of all industries. We are honored by the fact that Electrica Furnizare was selected by the Zambelli Metal company to carry out this project, with an average annual production of electricity estimated at 405.4 MWh, which will generate a cost reduction regarding the electricity used", stated Iulian Matei, director of the Customer Department Key Electrica Furnizare.

The 550 Wp photovoltaic modules will be installed on the roof of the Zambelli Metal factory in Sfântu Gheorghe, the total installed power being 360 KWp.

"The Zambelli Metal company is constantly concerned with the protection of the environment, the purchase of photovoltaic panels being a strategic step towards achieving the objectives aimed at reducing carbon emissions and using energy from renewable sources. This investment will also help us to reduce operational costs generated by electricity consumption, the solution involving the installation of photovoltaic panels being an eco-friendly and beneficial option for business", said Czeczan Rozalia, Zambelli Metal Building manager.
