The first 9,566 Romanians who signed up for the Green House Program can start installing photovoltaic panels. The Administration of the Environmental Fund (AFM) published on Tuesday, January 30, 2024, the first list of accepted files under the Green House Program. Thus, during the meeting of the AFM's Approval Committee, the first 9,566 beneficiaries - natural persons of the Photovoltaic House Green Program 2023 - were approved.

"The more than 9,500 beneficiaries approved today have been given the green light to start installing photovoltaic panels in order of enrollment in the program. The interest in the Photovoltaic Green House is extremely high and this year, more and more Romanians want to produce green energy in their homes. We can support this interest with a record budget at Casa Verde Fotovoltaice - the 2024 edition, namely RON 2 billion (€400 million) for individuals", said the Minister of Environment, Water and Forests, Mircea Fechet.

The list of files accepted under this program is published on the AFM website, in the section related to the Casa Verde Photovoltaic Program – session 2023.

The project implementation period is 12 months from the list's publication date.
