The largest photovoltaic park in Europe is being built in Arad, Romania. The investment amounts to €800 million and will start this summer, in the Pilu - Grăniceri area. The land on which the photovoltaic park will be built has an area of 1,064 hectares.

PAD RES gets loan for 14 fully merchant solar PV projects

Electrica acquires company developing photovoltaic project in Vrancea

The energy supplier and distributor Electrica has completed the acquisition of the project company Green Energy Consultancy & Investments, which is developing the Vulturu photovoltaic project, Vrancea county, with an installed capacity of 9,75 MW (evacuating power in the network).

Europe offsets two thirds of Russian gas supply loss from other sources

Gas prices fall sharply on TTF

This winter continues to be fairly mild in Europe, which means that the gas shortages that many had predicted as a worst-case scenario have been avoided. The unusual weather has resulted in favourable gas storage figures, so Europe can look forward to next winter in a much more favourable position, as was also priced in today on the Dutch gas exchange, where gas prices fell sharply this morning.
