OMV Petrom begins construction on new plant

OMV Petrom, the leading integrated energy producer in Southeast Europe, has officially started construction on a new facility for producing sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) and renewable diesel (HVO) at the Petrobrazi refinery.  

With an annual capacity of 250,000 tons, this unit will establish OMV Petrom as the first major producer of sustainable fuels in Southeast Europe.

By integrating SAF and HVO production into an existing refinery, the facility will enhance the infrastructure for fuel manufacturing, storage, and distribution.
